1. Who we are
RSVPeas is a service operated by RSVPeas (“RSVPeas”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].
RSVPeas c/o the host Update this in src/lib/legal/constants.ts2. Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping that inbox secure. Don't share your magic links and don't let other people sign in as you.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're hosting a kids' event, you need to be the adult organizer.
3. Your content, your pod
You own everything you put into a pod — the title, the guest list, the photos, the chat messages. You give us a limited license to store and display that content so the service can work (showing the invite to guests, delivering email, rendering the recap page).
Guests own their own RSVP responses, chat messages, and photo uploads. Hosts can moderate and remove content from pods they own.
4. What you can't do
See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list. The short version:
- No spam. Only invite people you actually know.
- No illegal events, no hate speech, no harassment.
- No scraping, reverse-engineering, or abusing the service.
- No reselling the service or impersonating someone else.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. If we do, we'll try to give you a reason and a chance to export your data first, unless the breach is severe.
5. Free and Premium
Free pods are free forever. Premium is a paid subscription billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime in your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — see the Refund Policy for details.
Prices can change. If they do, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect on your subscription.
6. Email and your guests
When you add a guest to your pod, we send them an invitation email on your behalf. You're responsible for making sure those people actually want to hear from you. Every email we send carries a one-tap unsubscribe link, and unsubscribed addresses are suppressed across the whole system.
Mass-blasting strangers is the fastest way to get your account suspended. Don't do it.
7. Service availability
We do our best to keep the service running 24/7, but we don't promise zero downtime. We can take the service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or emergencies. We'll communicate planned outages when we can.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. That cancels your subscription, removes your sessions, and anonymizes your data within 30 days. Some records (billing receipts, legal compliance, abuse logs) may be kept longer where required by law.
We can terminate your access for cause (breaking these terms, fraud, chargebacks) or for convenience with reasonable notice. If we terminate for convenience, we'll refund any prepaid Premium time.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Don't rely on RSVPeas as the only record of important information (export your guest list if your event depends on it).
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RSVPeas isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
12. Changes
We can update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll email signed-in users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
